Unfortunately Yahoo has recently withdrawn their best ones. Can any reader suggest replacements?

Hardware is cheap now - especially RAM and hard disk.
The immediate performance boost from additional RAM or an extra disk costs very little and will extend the life of your system. You can even install them yourself - it's really simple.

CPU's cost much more to upgrade significantly and often require a replacement mother board.
Best deferred as long as you can manage (unless you are a keen home builder).

Network capacity is often out of our hands but I always subscribe to the fastest broadband on offer. So many doors open when you can rapidly store and retrieve your data on-line in Gigabytes - it's a whole new world of freedom and flexibility.

The combination of broadband and Google Gears (and the like) is going to revolutionize the way we compute and ultimately could even deliver us from the tyranny of Microsoft. And there's an amazing amount of online storage capacity available free of charge......

WINDOWS REGISTRY CORRUPTION

Amazing statistic for computer buffs - over 95% of the world PC users suffer from performance degradation and system unreliability as a result of Windows Registry clutter and damage.

Mostly this arises naturally through the ongoing process of adding and removing software over the course of time. The uninstall process rarely removes all traces, leaving a debris of orphan entries to clog the search mechanism and worse.

As the clutter builds, the search overhead grows geometrically, and the PC stutters and becomes sluggish and unresponsive.

Registry clutter is quite easy to fix with an automated Registry Cleaner.
This is a scanning and repair utility - widely available for $20 to $30
Registry Cleaners are often bundled now with other performance tuning tools and offer a cost effective means to defer hardware upgrade.

You'd think that Microsoft would have issued an automated Registry Cleaner by now wouldn't you? Perhaps they just don't like to admit the problem!
The manual Registry editing tools bundled with Windows are far too dangerous for us lesser mortals to play with and are best reserved for experienced PC technicians.

Which leaves a massive market that the automated Registry Cleaner software vendors hunt in like a pack of hungry sharks.
However, be cautious, there have been many examples of abusive selling and many products that do more harm than good. The new Wild West!

My new website http://PcPundit.com has plenty to say on the topic.

INCOMPLETE SOFTWARE INSTALLATIONS

Usually the result of registry damage or false positives by anti-virus or anti-spy software.
Simplest solution is to uninstall then re-install the software - this is effective 9 times from 10.
If you have problems of application incompatibility, your supplier may have some advice - otherwise you'll just have to research the allergy by trial and error.

MALWARE DAMAGE
In case you don't know the term, "Malware" (malign software) is the collective term for Viruses, Trojans, Worms, Spyware, Adware and the like.
The only good solution to Malware is prevention.
So reach for your wallet and grit your teeth.

However, do beware the growing problem of false positives - especially with anti-spyware.
Take frequent registry backups and suppress suspect items through reversible quarantine rather than deletion.
Do NOT blithely assume that anti-spyware is always correct in its malware identification.
There is a lot of software around that is benign in one context but which can be used abusively in another.
As with spam filtering - it's getting to the point where the cops sometimes cause more damage than the crooks!

This article is an extract of the materials in my new website - http://PcPundit.com
I'd much appreciate your taking a look and advising me of any improvements you recommend.

Steven Henderson
Publisher, PcPundit.com

Hopefully inoffensive seasonal greeting

<div style="overflow: auto; In particular, the addition of many new inbound links - which tend to swamp the effect of on-page factors.

So instead, I tracked and analyzed my individual ads' contributions - and found such a skew in their performance that it was a no-brainer to cull the weaker brethren.

b) There is a psychological phenomenon called "ad blindness".
Apparently the more ads we are exposed to, the more likely we are to ignore ALL of them. This understanding motivated me to cull the weaker ads ruthlessly, and sure enough the total clicks and revenue improved.

c) Following the "minimalist" concept a little further, I also experimented with substituting link ads for text ads. To my surprise, I scored more clicks and revenue from a links banner at the top of the page than I did from an ad banner in the same position (whether text only or text/image mixed).

d) On the back of that discovery, I eliminated an eBay shop window which was earning pennies - and the Adsense clicks went up yet again!

e) Most significantly of all, my affiliate ad clicks also increased when I cut down the Adsense - and that means real money. I earn $25 to $100 commissions on those, AND the possibility of repeat orders, which puts the Adsense pennies firmly into perspective.

Maybe I should eliminate the content next, so there are NO distractions at all!
Sadly, many a true word spoken in jest there - it's a devious but effective black hat tactic....

Bottom line:

1) Track and test for yourself - even very simple tests can reveal valuable insights.

2) Treasure your credibility like gold (which it is).
Nobody listens to folks forever pitching - you gotta give before you get.
So cut back on what you sell and stick to offers that you KNOW are good 'uns.

3) Adsense is a last resort best used to monetize a failed site until you can sell it.
If the traffic is good, then you will do better with the following options:
a) selling your own products
b) selling good affiliate products via Clickbank, Commission Juncrion etc.
c) selling the traffic for higher returns (CPA offers, link sales, private PPC deals)

<!-- Tag links generated by Zoundry Blog Writer. Well, the system has some unique features which tempted me and which should also interest other webmasters with material traffic volumes.

1. It is lucrative and the income is wholly predictable.

You are paid for every unique visitor - even if their speakers are off. No click through is required. The proportion who do not listen is already figured into the pricing. In addition to their own traffic revenues, affiliates earn overrides on the income of every site they recruit to the network.
And on the income of any sub-affiliate they recruit.

2. It is non-intrusive.

There is nothing displayed on your site associated with the audio clips - so you will still be able to monetize the visitors again through AdSense or other contextual ads, affiliate offers, your own product ads and lead capture forms.
The audio ads are very brief and do not compete with the visual content of your site. The audio clip only plays once per visitor - so if they click around your site, they won't hear it again.

3. It is non-competitive

The ads do not cost you real-estate - they exploit a previously unused dimension. The ads are complementary rather than competitive. There is no mechanism to divert your traffic away from your site.

The audio ads will be contextually related to your website content. Failing relevant content, then generic content suitable for all will be played.
Since there is nothing to click, the ads are likely more for corporate branding purposes - such as "Drink Coke!"

4. The system already has momentum.

Folks are watching TV ads less and less - and increasingly they are on the internet instead of watching TV. The TV advertisers want these eyeballs back.
Major brand name TV advertisers worldwide are aleady signed up. Names like Harley Davidson for example.

It is also backed by a major search engine - as yet undisclosed for commercial reasons.

I intend to use PPP on sites presently reliant on Adsense and banner income primarily. I may hold off for sites with lucrative monetization in place already - that decision will depend on the results of experimental split-testing.

While the program doesn't officially start until Feb 1, 2008 - they are presently building their network to command larger bid prices for the ads. To incentivize the network build, the affiliate scheme generously rewards recruiters.

So sign up now and tell others. The affiliate scheme should prove very interesting for the early birds. Do the math!

For details see:

http://4mostip.com/presents/PPP

<!-- Tag links generated by Zoundry Blog Writer. Well, John recently dropped everything to create a new FREE service called BLOG RUSH which has just launched.

BLOG RUSH is a blog syndication system with a neat twist that qualifies it as an irresistable offer.

Each member gets traffic to his blog(s) in return for incorporating a widget displaying links to other member blogs. Each exposure of your widget earns a traffic credit for exposure of your blog's link in other members' widgets.

The twist that makes this service compelling is the bonus of "downline traffic credits". You earn traffic credits for widgets displayed by everyone you refer to the system PLUS everyone they refer up to 10 levels of referral deep. The compounding of credits this way can enormously multiply your traffic.

Technical note - the downline credits are allowed 1 for 1 for the first two referral levels; 1 for 4 in levels 3 to 6; and 1 for 8 in levels 7 to 10. This scheme fills 9 of the 10 slots in the widget and the 10th serves to fund the system. The cut-off after 10 levels ensures that later arrivals will still be motivated to join.

Because the BLOG RUSH service is free, there is no reason that any other blog author would not want to join. It's just a question of getting to them first.
As ever, the early bird catches the worm.

Here's the link:-

http://4mostip.com/presents/BlogRush

BLOG RUSH QUALITY CONTROL

Member blogs are all categorized by theme. />What will you do with all this new traffic?

1) You can monetize directly or indirectly by including in your blog:
- contextual advertising (eg Adsense, Adbrite, Kontera, Chitika etc);
- affiliate links (eg Clickbank, Commission Junction etc);
- mailing list subscription forms;
- links to your own or affiliate website(s) and sales pages.

2) Through your increased blog readership you will also
- extend your network of influence and contacts and
- enhance your credibility and authority status in proportion to the quality of your blog content
These effects should jointly create further traffic organically AND improve your offer conversion rates.

(Note - Allow blog Comments with "No Follow" backlinks only - to encourage response but deter blog spammers)

3) You can further compound your readership growth (and monetization) by promoting BLOG RUSH in your websites, blogs, RSS feeds, newsletters and other mailings.

Here's the link again :- <a And if you don't already use Article Marketing - you should start - because this kind of traffic is very high quality and long lasting.

SUMMARY

Good articles are dead easy to recognize but a whole lot harder to create. New software automates internet research and helps synthese findings into an article draft ready for final editing. All in under 15 minutes.

ARTICLE

The internet marketing world is agreed on one thing at least - that an original article with solid informative content remains a sure fire way to (a) develop your reputation as expert in a niche and (b) drive TARGETED traffic to your website.

So why don't we all profit from that common knowledge?Simply because, good articles are dead easy to recognize but a whole lot harder to create.

Have you ever needed some articles written fast for your website or article marketing campaign?Ever found yourself in front of a computer screen wondering where to begin?

Ever found a great keyword but don't know enough of the subject to write an article?Ever spent hours searching the internet looking for enough solid information for a quality article?

The fact is that coming up with original articles can be a long painful process, soaking up time you'd prefer to devote to other productive or more enjoyable activity - the classic example of "sweat equity".

So as an author yourself you can well imagine my reaction to a circular promoting some new software that automates the research drudgery and then helps sift and arrange the results into a quality report? That would produce - not the rubbish produced by "spinners" - but the kind of true quality that will enhance our reputation - even in topics we are new to. And would reputedly do all this in under a quarter of an hour?

Despite all the usual scepticism of marketing hype, you'd have to be interested, wouldn't you? Particularly, if the author was already known to you for producing the goods to back up his claims.

Well in this case I already knew and trusted the author (Jonathon Leger) of "$7 Secret" fame. He's a no BS techie kind of guy who always over delivers on his claims. And his $7 Secret has changed the face of IM ebook publishing in a matter of weeks - on pure merit and viral distribution.

So - I rushed to download Jonathan's "Instant Article Wizard". And guess what - it actually works!

I'm not going to waste time here describing IAW because Jonathan has prepared a couple of videos (the first a brief overview, the second a case study) which demonstrate IAW in action. So watch the videos and judge for yourself.

Warning - when you've watched them you'll probably head for the ($67) order button before the second video is even finished - I certainly did. There was nothing to lose except a few minutes of my time thanks to the PayDotCom guarantee of automatic refund if not satisfied.

I downloaded IAW and had my first article produced inside an hour - including the time to install and try out all the features.

Sorry if this sounds like a sales puff - it's not intended to. It's just that I'm excitied about this development because it's headed in the right direction - of improving rather than degrading quality. It's using computers to enhance productivity and creativity to produce quality work.

This shift to quality is so much healthier than the trend to superficial rubbish stemming from "Made For Adsense" spinner type tools. And I believe most true authors will share the view that quality is the direction we should all be headed.

You can see Instant Article Wizard software in action at http://4mostip.com/presents/InstantArticleWizard

Viral Marketing for Dummies

Have you ever been drawn to the idea of what viral marketing might do for your business by finding new, qualified prospective customers ?

But didn't go further......perhaps, like me,because it all got just too complicated?

If so, listen up because this will interest you -

Clickbank expert Harvey Segal got fed up with Google forever changing the traffic generation ground rules (both SEO and PPC). He decided that to continue to rely so heavily on such fickle sources of leads was plain bad business - so to hedge his bets he developed an alternative.

Harvey developed his own viral marketing campaign that anyone can participate in without all the usual complication. And it's a peach.......

Basically, he does 99% of the work and then allows you to keep 100% of the profit which is $10, for giving away his ebook (which as we all know is a lot easier than selling a great product for $10). For details see:
http://4mostip.com/presents/SuperTip

Downloading the ebook is a no brainer because you don't even need to give up your name or email address to download this free product - which clearly explains the whole concept.

Only if you want to re-brand and go viral, will this cost you $10.
Whether you do or not, I still highly recommend the book as a very interesting and educational read.

Actaully, you probably will want to go viral when you see how simple and effective it is AND learnthat you will NEVER be asked for a refund!!
Harvey even underwrites that risk.

Harvey has so completely and cleverly automated the system that there is nothing for us to do except advertise a single affiliate link.

He's systematically removed all the reasons for inaction except "too lazy to take the money"! A link to Traffic Hoopla is provided in the author resource box below.

You should limit the exchanges you use and usually it pays to upgrade to Pro (paid) status. Paid upgrades in the top exchanges are generally good value.

Paid members get many more credits for their surfing and may also benefit from random referrals to their downline. Usually there is a monthly allocation of traffic included in your subscription.

When surfing it is best to set a regular date to go surfing without interruption and use a multi-tabbed browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox) to run several surfs at the same time so that you are never kept waiting to click and claim your credit. If you are interested in a page, "control click" opens a new page to read at your leisure and releases the original page to be clicked off for credit.

You must build a downline to make TEs work economically with your time. To achieve this you reinvest a percentage (say 20% to 50%) of all your surfing credits into promoting your other exchanges. As your downline builds you will then get free traffic credits from your downline's surfing. This is a cumulative process like compound interest. It starts slowly but you get to a point where you receive steady traffic without surfing much at all yourself.

Advertising with a splash page (cost about $25) usually works better than your full sales letter. In a TE you get maybe 3 seconds to engage attention and then you've lost 'em. So you use the splash page as a graphic intensive headline to grab attention.

Then when they click the splash page you open your full sales letter as a new page. Because the new page does not interrupt surfing and is not overwritten - it may actually get read.

You should track all your advertising - without fail.

Testing and comparison. Reinforcing the strong and culling the weak. This is how nature works - it's called Evolution. And we all know that it works, don't we?

You will find vast discrepancies between different ads and different traffic exchanges. The strangest little quirks make big differences to an ad's performance. Tracking, Testing and Tweaking will do more for your productivity than any other improvement.

SUMMARY

Stick to the top exchanges and upgrade to PRO; organize your time; build a downline; use splash pages; TRACK, TEST and TWEAK

I wish you Happy and Productive Surfing - but not too much of it! Your time is valuable, so don't delude yourself that Traffic Exchange leads come free. Limit the time you spend on Traffic Exchanges and push hard to make that time as productive as you can make it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author

Steven Henderson is the author and active MLM sponsor. I've been slow to appreciate the importance of Web 2.0 in internet marketing. Especially for the smaller guy.
But now that I'm finally starting to "get it", I'm bursting to pass it along!

The traditional WorldWideWeb has been search engine dominated. Despite the power of Google and similar browsers, it is still difficult, frustrating and wery time consuming to assemble an informed opinion on any major topic of interest.

Secondly, the search engine higher rankings are dominated by big outfits with the resources to develop and optimize the information content of their sites. The little guy is progressively being squeezed out of the first 3 pages of search results (folks rarely go behond page 3). Similarly, Pay Per Click advertising is being progressively priced out of reach.

So the stage is open for a new human driven and human scale approach to organising information called "social networking" or Web 2.0.

Specialist sites like Squidoo, My Space, Technorati etc. allow groups of private individuals to contribute their two cents worth on every topic under the sun - either directly or by cross referencing to their own articles, blogs and websites. The Web 2.0 host sites then do a great job of indexing and correlating the resulting info with search labels called "tags".

When these data sites are mined with a query to get the dope on, say, "expresso machines" or "generating web traffic" - you are steered to discussion and documention threads that discuss the topic, in detail, and from many points of view.

The information result is like capturing a cross section of all the blog articles on earth to see what they say globally about the queried topic. Through posts and link exchanges in Web 2.0, even very small players can raise their visibility greatly.

Some very savvy, informed folks are counselling that Web 2.0 will be the phenomenon of 2007. Additonally, we should also factor in the development of RSS feeds (text) and podcasting (the audio equivalent of RSS).

You are advised to do some quick research on Web 2.0 and RSS very soon. These new technologies are already being packaged cleverly to be accessible and easy to use.

Most importantly, they can drive mucho new traffic to your site - quickly, easily and very cheaply compared with the classic alternatives.

Steve Henderson

Free Gift + Free VRE membership site

Here's a little gift for you today - something I find
rather useful in my daily life.

It's called Promo Buddy and helps keep track of my promotions,
activities and resources, tools, media etc etc.

Promo Buddy is an integrated set of 36 databases (FileMakerPro) -
designed by internet marketers for fellow internet marketers.
They are well thought through and easy to use.
RRP is $97 but to you NIL - I can't get the price down any further, sorry!

After Roboform and Edit Pad and MS Office, I rate Promo Buddy
among the most useful applications software I have.

a) if you don't already use Roboform to keep track of passwords
and fill out forms on-line then you really should -
Download your free Roboform Lite version here

b) Edit Pad is the Rolls Royce of text editors
Download your free Edit Pad Lite version here

c) Gates doesn't need my help to market Office!!

The catch? One of the first and easiest things you can and must do is get your desktop organized.

To help you get organized, this is the first in a series of occasional articles on time management and personal productivity.

I get quite a few "system support" calls from new members of my programs who need a little help setting up their website and autoresponders to work right for them. Whilst waiting for them to hack away typing and correcting URL's and finding forgotten passwords, it pains me to think of the time they are wasting quite unnecessarily - both theirs and mine!

Well, my time is pretty valuable to me. And if you want to make money, you had better start thinking similalry about yours. So with that in mind, today's topic is a little software gizmo called Roboform.

Roboform very conveniently stores (in a secure encrypted file) all your website URL's and passwords that you expect to use again.

So now when you want to go to a website - you click up your Roboform "black-book" from your system tool bar - click on the name of the website you want to go to and KAZAM - you are in.

A second useful function is that Roboform stores your personal details in a data base and automatically fills in online forms for you. Just select your right mouse menu command "Fill Forms" and it's done.

Most common functions either happen automatically or are called from your right mouse menu.

Storing your passwords and personal details in Roboform is MUCH more secure than leaving them in your browser for the hackers to enjoy. In fact, Roboform's security is sufficiently good that I prefer to keep my bank and credit card details in Roboform than anywhere else on my PC.

Roboform comes in a free "Lite" version or a PRO version for a few bucks.
The Lite version has full functionality but is limited to 12 URLs.
The PRO version is unlimited which is just as well because I have over 400 URL's stored!

There is a variant available which lets you keep your Roborform data file and programs on a USB stick so you can carry it around with you to plug and go wherever you are.

The "Lite" version is still useful because it can store your more commonly accessed sites - which often account for a good percentage your total logins.

I recommend you get the "Lite Version" - try it out for real with your most commonly accessed sites. And when you get fed up with kicking old sites off to make space for today's favourite - you'll know for yourself if and when you need the PRO version.

Until you use Roboform, you can't appreciate just how much time and exasperation it saves.

Follow this link to download Robform :

http://4mostip.com/presents/Roboform

and watch your BP come down nicely!!

Best wishes,

Steven Henderson

mailto:sjh@4mostip.com

http://4mostip.blogspot.com/

About the Author:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
See Steven's biography and contact details at:
http://stevenhenderson.ws

If you are interested in network marketing as a way to leverage your time to a good living working online from home - learn the professionals' secrets of recruiting and replication here:
http://4mostip.com/presents/FundedProposals

Free Traffic with Toolbar Traffic Generators - Instant Buzz

Copyright (c) Steven Henderson 2006

Toolbar traffic generators offer a simple and convenient way to get free traffic to your website.

One of the best established is Instant Buzz run by Mike Filsaime (my mentor at "Butterfly Marketing").

Instant Buzz allows you to drive free targeted traffic to your website just by doing what you do anyway... surfing the web.

Instant Buzz works by installing a toolbar into your browser which works as a banner exchange displaying one-line text mini-banners. You surf as usual and earn credits automatically by having other folks' banners displayed on your toolbar.

Your banner is displayed in other members' browser tool bars and, if your banner is intriguing enough, some will click and access your website.

The real leverage (as with traffic exchanges) comes from recruiting a downline and receiving free traffic credits based on your downline's surfing. This is easy enough because the program is free and it works. Build enough downline and you can achieve a steady and ever growing flow of free traffic....NIRVANA

The secret is to always reinvest a proportion of your traffic credits in cross-promotion of your favourite traffic exchanges and tool bar traffic generators. So this is a long term program but low effort and ultimately high return.

Purchased traffic credits are not good value because the response rate is low...or is that just down to my feeble copywriting?

Instant Buzz is FREE and by invitation only - you may join as my guest at:

http://4mostip.com/presents/Instant Buzz

I use Instant Buzz myself and after a slow start now get good results. I took the ELITE upgrade because it allows me to format banners with HTML which has been proven to sharply improve response rates. So for a one-time expense I get a permanent improvement in response.

Regards,

Steven Henderson

P.S. Decide in advance if you want to make the "Elite" upgrade because there is a one-time offer ("OTO") on first entry, which offers a BIG discount but you really will never see the offer again if you don't accept immediately. The "OTO" is a classic Mike Filsaime "Butterfly Marketing" gimmick which I'll tell you about another time!

http://4mostip.blogspot.com

About the Author:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
See Steven's biography and contact details at:
http://stevenhenderson.ws

Learn about MLM sponsoring the professional way at:
http://4mostip.com/presents/MagneticSponsoring

Free Traffic with Instant Buzz

Hi...

http://www.InstantBuzz.com

If you are looking for a great way to get some
free traffic to your website, well look no further.

InstantBuzz.com
allows you to drive free targeted
traffic to your website just by doing what you do
anyway... surfing the web.

To check it out, visit below:

http://www.InstantBuzz.com

Within minutes, this breakthrough patent pending
technology will be sending quality visitors to your
site just because you installed the software onto
your computer.

Download this awesome tool now:

http://www.InstantBuzz.com

I use it myself and I am
getting some great results. That is, not UNTIL you discover that this concept EXPLODES your affiliate/MLM rep recruiting - and can be DUPLICATED through your downline.

I'd never even heard of Funded Proposals a few months ago - most professional internet marketers haven't either - let alone newbies.

The concept has been used off-line by top dogs in network marketing but never spread further because they couldn't duplicate the methods to their downline.

It would have stayed that way - until very recently some visionary internet marketers developed a way to automate those techniques so they can be duplicated throughout a downline. And as they say - the rest is history!

But now I'm torn between:

(a) spreading the good news because it's working so well for me and I'm so excited by it - and

(b) keeping it close to me and my downline - we're better off without our competition knowing our methods. We don't want it played out too soon as a unique advantage in our own recruiting.

Maybe it's better for Funded Proposals to remain a little known "secret" of the industry top dogs - so long as we can be part of their magic circle!

I decided in the end to keep this knowledge to my own downline plus subscribers to my blog and ezine OnlineHomeBusinessGuide.

Funded Proposals are explained very clearly in a free ezine and/or $39 book called "Magnetic Sponsoring" by Mike Dillard which are available via :

http://4mostip.com/presents/MagneticSponsoring

The free ezine (10 short email letters) alone would reward your study 100 fold.

Best wishes,

Steven Henderson
http://StevenHenderson.com
mailto:sjh@4mostip.com

Lesson series available in PDF format

In response to feedback from subscribers to the 4mostip
"Online Home Business Guide", the lessons in the series
"Marketing Strategies that EMPOWER Success" are now
available on-line in .pdf format. Member Suggestions

Thank you those kind readers who have taken the time to
comment on our lessons and share their experiences.
Your compliments are, of course, most gratifying.

It is reassuring too just to confirm that real people out
there actually do read and benefit from the advice given.

Two letters in particular are worthy of special mention:

1.1 PDF format

Monika, suggests that we provide a version of the lessons
in pdf format for ease of reading and storage.

This is an excellent idea which we will implement.

Because many folks are nervous of email attachments
(for fear of viruses), and

others have problems with large files over low speed
connections,

we will implement a pdf service by providing
you with links to a library on our server.

You can then download lessons in pdf format as you wish if
your internet connection is fast enough to do so conveniently.

I will circulate the links just as soon as I can reformat
and upload the lessons.

Try this link for starters and let me know of any problems
experienced, if you would be so kind:
http://lessons.4mostip.com

1.2 Ebook preparation

Peter, suggests that facilities and tuition to prepare
ebooks SIMPLY would make a good subject for study.
Another excellent suggestion which we will address.

Coincidentally, Jeanette tells us that she has already
started making a simple "ebook" of the course for her own
convenience to file and refer back to - which is just what
Monica needs.

Thanks to your input, I now appreciate much better that many
folks do struggle with the practicalities of ebook production.

Ebooks are a powerful weapon in your marketing armory,
and you cannot afford to overlook their possibilities -
both as products for sale and as viral marketing giveaways.

BRANDED ebooks have massive potential to spread your
name and are worthy of serious study.

We will work something up and circulate it just as soon as
time permits - that's a promise.

So, two excellent constructive suggestions that we shall act
upon to the benefit of all.

Thank you again Monika, Peter and Jeanette.

Thanks too to those readers who replied trying to sign me up
to their programs! Just because I'm committed elsewhere
doesn't mean I don't appreciate your initiative and enterprise.

Selectivity about what to take on is a great challenge
in our world - where there are so many tempting
projects - so cleverly pitched to us.
FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS............

2 How many of you are making money yet?
If not, are you ready yet to be helped?

A sad letter from Bob tells how after 12 years internet
marketing without making money, he is trying his last
project before throwing in the towel.

Well he is a hero for hanging in there so long before
admitting that maybe something isn't quite right
with his approach! Sorry Bob, just wisecracking.
Don't mean to be disrespectful of your efforts, as I know
that you have made serious efforts to try different ways
of working the problem.

Unfortunately, 95% of internet marketers do eventually give
up without ever making a penny of profit. Sad but true.

Some don't deserve to succeed because they never put in
any serious effort or investment.

But, for the other serious contenders, a much better outcome
should be possible.

The good news is our alternative below....

I hesitate to suggest our alternative except to :

(a) folks brand new to this business and ready
to accept guidance with an open mind, and

(b) those who have already tried every which way
of hitting their head on a wall

(it's called "repetitive unproductive behavior"
- like repeated jabbing of the elevator button
when it doesn't come quickly enough for you)

and are now FINALLY ready to listen seriously and ACT
on advice about how to find the stairs instead.

One piece of advice I will give them for free is -
stop switching programs
(the grass is NOT greener next door)

- and instead work REALLY hard on finding
our why you aren't making the first program work.

Otherwise you will simply repeat the pattern of failure
with the next project.

3 Internet Marketing Apprentice Program

My associate Harry Fassett and I are presently working on
details of a coaching/mentoring program to lead a small
group of "apprentices" in creating their own profitable
businesses - using techniques that we KNOW to work -
because we already use them successfully.

We shall be investing considerable time and effort in each
trainee. Our time and patience is limited and we can't
afford to waste it on people who can't or won't
"get with the program".

So, we are presently studying ways to filter out in advance
those lazy dreamers who would just waste both our time
and their own, at the expense of the other participants.

We shall require a level of discipline and commitment to
budget and effort that is unwelcome to the ears of many
gullible dreamers sold on internet hype of instant riches.

Instant riches without systematic and intelligent
investment of time and money don't exist anywhere else,
and common sense tells us all that they don't exist on the
internet either. So, why suspend your common sense
when you switch on your PC?

If any of you would like to put your name forward as
possible candidates then please do write us informally with
a summary of your experiences, objectives and motivations.

We can't promise specific schedules until we get an overview
of candidates' capabilities and needs - and finalize the
terms of our program accordingly.

However, we will give preference to existing subscribers to
this lesson series before considering other applications.

That's it for today folks, except to reiterate how much we
value your input. You'd be surprised how much you can see
that those of us at the coal face cannot. I'm going to post
this newsletter to our blog and warmly invite your comments
and further suggestions at
http://blog.4mostip.com

With best wishes,

Steven Henderson
http://sjh.4mostip.com
mailto:sjh@4mostip.com

P.S. Up to now, I’ve been led to believe that to compete successfully with the big sellers out there making ridiculously high profits on the web, I need a sophisticated (and very complicated) web hosting machine. And oh, by the way, this must-have “system” can only be pieced together and maintained by high-priced experts. I’m in over my head. It’s an expensive, time-consuming process that requires more know-how than I could ever get on my own. Right?
