Toolbar traffic generators offer a simple and convenient way to get free traffic to your website.

One of the best established is Instant Buzz run by Mike Filsaime (my mentor at "Butterfly Marketing").

Instant Buzz allows you to drive free targeted traffic to your website just by doing what you do anyway... surfing the web.

Instant Buzz works by installing a toolbar into your browser which works as a banner exchange displaying one-line text mini-banners. You surf as usual and earn credits automatically by having other folks' banners displayed on your toolbar.

Your banner is displayed in other members' browser tool bars and, if your banner is intriguing enough, some will click and access your website.

The real leverage (as with traffic exchanges) comes from recruiting a downline and receiving free traffic credits based on your downline's surfing. This is easy enough because the program is free and it works. Build enough downline and you can achieve a steady and ever growing flow of free traffic....NIRVANA

The secret is to always reinvest a proportion of your traffic credits in cross-promotion of your favourite traffic exchanges and tool bar traffic generators. So this is a long term program but low effort and ultimately high return.

Purchased traffic credits are not good value because the response rate is low...or is that just down to my feeble copywriting?

I use Instant Buzz myself and after a slow start now get good results. I took the ELITE upgrade because it allows me to format banners with HTML which has been proven to sharply improve response rates. So for a one-time expense I get a permanent improvement in response.

P.S.
